Well the afternoon and evening hours were full of fantastic fun.....just as the morning! Our team went to lunch with several people from Risttee Church. We ate at the "Tallest Pub" in the Guinness book of World Records. Oh my......! We tried some new food. I personally ate these little tiny fish (Herring...but I think it was translated wrong)...each one was the size of my pointer finger....itty bitty bones.....I think I was supposed to eat the WHOLE thing.....but no....I "peeled" them or shucked them or whatever you'd do to TINY fish to try to get all the bones out...I was thinking...For The Love...how am I supposed to get all these bones out. Not a great choice. I was thinking....Pub, fish....ok...fish'n chips.....oh but NO...nothing like it! I think Daryl & Betsy played it safe and went healthy, Courtney opted for like cheese and mustard & those amazing garlic sticks, I think Matt & Kevin went with soup.....all and all...no one died from hunger. However, we did end with this amazing dessert that was more divine than southern cobbler...my small group may disagree! INCREDIBLE!
On the walk home (did I say that we walk everywhere...not some places, but ALL places), we walked by Tartu University...do you recognize the photo from the bottom right corner of this page...scroll down a little? Daryl, Betsy and I wondered in and out of a few stores, walked pass "the hill" (which is the only place where public drinking is allowed), and back to the hotel. The afternoon was going to be "work" mode for preparing for tomorrow. So off to Salem Church to put together the sandwiches for tomorrow.....1.5 miles....just a little stroll through the town! :)
Several of the girls from Risttee met us to work! It was assembly time again.....bread, butter, ham, cheese, cucumber, and a top piece of bread. We laughed a ton while everyone made it a game to see who could do it the fastest. We accomplished our tasks in no time and headed back to the hotel.
Now here's the funny thing....we needed to make signs for tomorrow morning. We're posting a sign everyday...remember...I told you about it in the AM blog. Well....we went to the basement of the hotel, wrote a question on each sheet for each day, times two stations. So...that's eight signs, small room with a BIG FAT SHARPIE pens (like larger than a quarter in diameter)......we are all a bit high.....really!....my head hurts, my words are slurring and you could smell it down the hall.
So off to dinner...and guess who arrived in his shining Rockstar Armor but Alex Nifong! We were ecstatic to finally have our 7th person here. He was with his friend on his wedding day, Saturday, and then jumped a plane to meet us. He's doing amazing....and we, as well as Timo, are REALLY glad to have him with us. We ate pizza as a group for dinner with several Estonians and we're off to bed early for another EARLY morning....6:45 AM ready to head out!

So for today.....thank you for the prayers.....they were answered! God is faithful...and we're not surprised. We accomplished SO SO SO much. Pray for us......
- Pray that some of the same students who were skeptical of us today....will be back tomorrow....because they see, hear, and want something different.
- Pray for Alex....he's not feeling so well and he will be doing the concert tomorrow night.
- Pray for our friends at Risttee Church...that they will be renewed and refreshed by the spirit.
- Pray that salvation will come......to a student or students on the campus at the University of Tartu.
- Pray for one of our team members...Courtney...she broke her foot just a few months ago and it seems to be bothering her. We have to WALK a lot....pray for mercy and healing over her foot!
It's a cold, rainy night in Tartu.....the streets are glistening with lights and moon light on the cobblestones....the market outside my window has closed for the day and will open at 5:30 AM so we're going to hit the hay early! Goodnight from all of us. Thank you for walking along side of us. Honestly...we can feel your prayers.
Serving Him for His glory and his fame only.....
The Estonia Team
PS....I'm going to add a funny fact tonight and someone else will tomorrow night.....so here goes.....there are NO ledges in the showers of the bathrooms. I can not figure out for the LIFE of me how to NOT flood the bathroom, keep the shower curtain off me, and be under the water all at the same time! I'm like....for cryin out loud.....make this floor slope or something. But no.....instead...I had to hurry and rinse off and then debate whether or not I should blow dry my hair....standing in water...after I was out of the shower. I chose - NO (electrocution)...result....a REALLY bad hair day!

I'm just going to have to say it - I'm SO jealous. Yes, jealous! Sounds like y'all are having yet another great day. I remember how busy we were last year but remember too the laughter and love that resonated between and throughout our groups. Daryl, sounds like you got some help with this water this year. Guess you get to make the assignments when you are the trip leader. :-) Glad things are off to such a great start for you all. Much love, many blessings and, no doubt, more great things to come.
